Man, this GoM has been a journey. Before I got my list of songs, I was all like "I'm going to challenge myself. I'm going to cover whichever song on my list I like least! I'm going to do the one everyone will least expect me to do!" But in the end, I said screw it to all my ambitious ideas. I'm doing a pretty straightforward version of the one song from my list that best matches my sensibilities anyway, mainly because it plays to my strengths rather well. So I took a lot of effort just to decide to do what I'm already good at. Oops. This is also the third installment in my 2010 song-a-week project.

LSK

Frank Black Headache Billy's Little Trip
Happy GOM Johnny! I was so happy when I saw that you were my giftee, because I knew I'd have an interesting group of songs to choose from, and I was right. I wanted to do them all, but chose the Frank Black song because I've never done a cover of any of his music, which is odd because he's a huge influence to me. I didn't want to do it exactly the same, so I rocked it out a bit more. I hope you like it. Peace my brother from another mother. :) J$
